Before you start
- Does it take my time, and do I need to be good with computers?
- About ten minutes to set up, once: your logo, your phone number, the three styles you fit, and a line round the area you cover on a map. After that we tell you when a house sells and you press one button. If you can send a text, you can do this.
- Am I promising something? Will they think it is a quote?
- No. The pack says, in print, that the designs show what the kitchen could be and are not a quote. You have not measured anything and the pack says so. The only thing you are committing to is answering the phone.
- Is it legal to post to a house that has just sold? Will it look creepy?
- Yes, it is legal. House sales are a matter of public record, the pack is addressed to "The Homeowner" rather than a name, and it goes through the letterbox like any other post. Anybody who asks not to hear from you again is taken off and never gets another.
- Will it make me look cheap, like a leaflet?
- It is four pages of A4 on good paper, in your colours, showing their actual kitchen. Nobody else who has posted through that door has drawn their kitchen.
- What does it cost, and can I stop?
- Your first 3 packs are free, with no card. Then £29 a month for 5 packs or £89 a month for 20 packs, plus VAT. Printing and postage are charged at cost and shown before anything is sent. Cancel whenever you like.
- What if the designs are wrong, and that reflects on me?
- The designs are generated by AI, and sometimes a detail is wrong: a handle, a socket, a tap. You see every pack before it is printed. If one is not good enough, delete it and it does not count towards your monthly packs.
- Is anyone else in my area getting the same thing?
- We do not promise you an area to yourself. What makes a pack yours is your own photos: upload kitchens you have fitted and every pack carries a fourth design in your style, with your name on it, so you are advertising your work and not ours. Do it before the fitter down the road does.
Money
- What does it cost after the free ones?
- There are two plans. Starter is £29 a month for 5 packs, which is £5.80 a pack, Pro is £89 a month for 20 packs, which is £4.45 a pack. Prices exclude VAT and there is no charge for the packs you have already made.
- Do I need a card to sign up?
- No. You get 3 packs first. A card is only asked for when you take a plan.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time, from your own billing page. You keep the month you have paid for and nothing you have made goes away.
- Who pays for the printing and the stamp?
- You do, at cost, and the figure is shown before anything is sent. It is not hidden in the monthly price.
Getting started
- Do I need photos of my own work?
- No. Three styles come as standard and every pack is designed in them from day one. Photos of your finished jobs are optional, and they get you a fourth design in your own look.
The leads
- How quickly does a sale show up?
- A sale is added to your list once it is recorded, which is usually a few weeks after the keys change hands. We only show you the last 120 days, because after that somebody has normally done the kitchen.
- Can I choose which houses get one?
- Yes, and you have to. Nothing is sent on its own. You look down your list of sales and pick the ones worth a pack.
- How big can my area be?
- The area you draw can be up to 150 square kilometres, and all your areas together up to 300. You can have as many as you like.
The pack
- Is it really their room, or a stock picture?
- Theirs. We take the kitchen photos from the property listing and redraw that room: the same walls, the same window, the same layout. That is the whole point, and it is why people ring.
- Does it say it is a computer design?
- Yes. The last page of every pack says: "These designs show what your kitchen could be. They are not a quote, and nothing has been measured." The small print says the pictures are computer visualisations. Nobody opens one thinking a surveyor has been round.
- Who prints it and posts it?
- We do, through our print partner, addressed to the new owners. You can also download the print-ready PDF and take it to your own printer.
- What if somebody does not want one?
- Tell us the address and nothing is ever produced for it again. There is an email address on the contact page for exactly that.
